It all began in 1974: Walter Lang founded a self-catering farm on an idyllic farm in Drebber, Lower Saxony, with the aim of helping his family to live as naturally and unadulterated as possible. He made the first fruit bars himself from the honey of his own bees and dried fruits. He constructed the required press himself. He mixed his cereal in the bathtub.
And he inspired the supporters of the newly emerging natural and sustainable food movement - the brand Allos was born. The pioneering spirit continued and in the following years Allos discovered the until then unknown superfood amaranth and the revolutionary agave syrup for the organic specialist trade. Here are a few milestones of our development.
